Cucina Burgatorio is an abstract horror

story about the underlying issues of cultural appropriation, following a young boy through

the play tubes of an obnoxious fast food restaurant. The restaurant, Cucina Burgatorio,
is a metaphor for cultural appropriation in the
way that it adopts elements of Italian cuisine to better sell a hamburger. The visual identity uses
the methods of successful food chains to conventionalize the absurdity of the brand.
